Return & Refund Policy

At East Fork, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with an order placed through East Fork, eligible merchandise may be returned or exchanged in accordance with the policy below.

1. Online Returns and Exchanges

East Fork accepts eligible returns and exchanges within 30 days of the merchandise being received.

All returns and exchanges require proof of purchase. Returned merchandise must be:

  • New and unused

  • In like-new condition

  • Returned with all original packaging intact

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping items back to East Fork unless the item arrived defective or damaged.

2. Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange, contact East Fork Customer Care at:

care@eastfork.com

Please provide your order information and explain whether you are requesting a return or exchange.

East Fork's Customer Care team will provide return instructions. Returns must be shipped within two weeks of contacting the Care Team.

3. Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original form of payment after the returned merchandise has been received and determined to be in acceptable condition.

Shipping costs are generally non-refundable.

East Fork cannot provide a refund or exchange for merchandise returned in less than like-new condition or damaged during the return shipment.

4. Exchanges

If an exchange is approved, East Fork will issue store credit for the full purchase amount, less the applicable shipping cost, after the returned item is received.

Store credit issued for an exchange expires after one year.

5. Gift Returns

If you received East Fork pottery as a gift and would prefer a different item, you may return the gift for store credit by contacting Customer Care.

6. Damaged or Defective Merchandise

If your pottery arrives broken or damaged, contact East Fork Customer Care at care@eastfork.com and provide:

  • Your order number

  • Photographs showing the damage

  • Details about the damaged item

East Fork asks customers to report broken items within one week of delivery.

If the item is confirmed to have been damaged during shipment, East Fork will arrange an appropriate replacement or other resolution.

7. Sale and Seconds Items

All Seconds-quality pottery and other disclosed sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

8. In-Store Returns and Exchanges

For purchases made in an East Fork store, unused, unwashed, or defective merchandise with a receipt may be returned or exchanged within 21 days for a full refund.

After 21 days but within 30 days, or for gift returns, store credit may be issued for the price paid.

All returned items must be unused and have their packaging intact.

Sale items and items purchased through Seconds sales are not eligible for return or exchange.

9. Excessive Returns

East Fork maintains a three-strike policy for certain high-risk return activity. Examples include:

  • Returning 20 or more items from different orders within 90 days

  • Returning more than $2,000 in merchandise across different orders within 90 days

  • Maintaining an overall return rate of 80% during a calendar year

Returns resulting from East Fork's fault, such as damaged merchandise, are excluded from these calculations.

Customers who receive a strike will be notified by email. A strike automatically expires 12 months after it is issued.
